Hello,

I am beginning my 13th year as a special education teacher. My experience as a special education teacher has been at the high school level. I began my career in Texas and have been in Arizona since 2008. I took a couple of years off to pursue other careers and volunteer work. I was part of Americorps for over a year in Prescott on Mingus Mountain. What an amazing escape from the day to day. I worked with different summer camp groups during that time. I also worked as a PE coach at Union Park and Stetson Hills last year. This is my 3rd year as the head mens volleyball coach at Boulder Creek high school. I am married with 3 boys and we are a DVUSD family. We have many 4 legged friends. I know it's crazy, but I was a vet assistant in another life. The great outdoors helps me find my tranquility. Looking forward to a great year in my new home at Hillcrest.
